Mayoral, compañía dedicada a la moda infantil y que este año celebra su 80 aniversario, diversifica y refuerza su portafolio con la adquisición de Boston, enfocada en el sector masculino, y una participación mayoritaria de Hug & Clau, centrada en el femenino, para expandir sus operaciones a otros sectores de la industria de la moda, según ha informado la enseña en un comunicado.

Por su parte, Hug & Clau nació en 2013 de la mano de los hermanos Carolina y Sancho García, con el objetivo de crear una firma de moda para mujer que apostara por el bienestar y el crecimiento personal. La enseña cerró 2019 con una facturación de 5,4 millones de euros.

En la actualidad, Boston cuenta con una plataforma de venta 'online' que comercializa sus prendas y accesorios y está presente en ocho ciudades españolas con 19 puntos de venta. A su vez, Hug & Clau dispone de tienda 'online' nacional, así como 9 tiendas físicas en España.
