Stefanos Tsitsipas, current number three in the world ranking, was not shy about talking about the current state of tennis in an interview on 'Bild'. The Greek affirms that at present "there is only one great player: Novak Djokovic".
Tsitsipas also sees himself capable of being part of another golden generation. "Currently there is only one great player: Novak Djokovic. He is still the best in the world. But Daniil Medvedev, Alexander Zverev and I are following him. We can become the next big three. I strongly believe in it."

He also wanted to clarify the controversy about his 'getaways' to the bathroom at the end of each set. Zverev and Murray criticized him for it and the Greek player defends himself. "No! My intention is not to disturb anyone's rhythm, it's not a tactical tool. I only look at myself and not the opponent anyway. Even after winning a set 6-0, I went to the bathroom."
